Japan State of Mind

Boy was I in Heaven with this last trip in Japan - where I was the whole week last....  Not my first time in the country of course but was my first in the Nagoya Area and the beautiful little Towns, such as Gero, Shirakawa , Gujo, etc...  Loved it so much that am still in what you might call a "Japan State of Mind!"

I mean, how could I not be...  the sights... the food..  Onsens...  Sakura Blooms...  And SNOW!!!   Just a truly Wonderful and Magical Trip for me!!!  Now back in Taipei...  Gotta Get back into the swing of things and get cracking with work...

Wishing everybody a GREAT WEEKEND and ST PATRICK's DAY now - as I have an early morning tomorrow... yep early morning ride to the airport for another trip....This one am truly excited about as am not off to Manila or Bangkok....  so stay tuned!!!

I think it is already no surprise to anyone how when am with Juju, rain or shine, we still pretty take advantage of the day and we make our own kind of FUN!  We try to still go out and see where our feet and our umbrellas would take us....  and at times when the weather is really bad and we have no choice but, so as to not go too crazy, we just do goofy to be stuck at home, we get goofy and just do some  selfies...  and to PROVE it, here's a few outtakes...  LOL!!!

Was cleaning up my IPhone photo albums to free up space and get ready for an  upcoming trip - came across this shot of an ARROW promo ad in one of the Malls in Manila..  Colton Haynes looking as Hot as Ever!!!  Never posted the shot anywhere bit thought it's a Perfect lead for this week's Hump Day Edition!!!

Modeling Days lead to MTV's Teen Wolf.

2 Seasons on Teen Wolf...  lots of flesh baring scenes including his swan song episode left many fans disappointed to find him gone when Season 3 started up... 

Good thing he turned up on ARROW!!!

I can only hope that this month will be good..  So far, not so...  Starting the month with Allergies - i haven't had it this bad in a loooon time...  So bad that I have caugt a headcold in the process..  Boo Hoo..  And adding to the headcold are a few minor headaches brought on by work and little and not so little matters that needs dealing with...

Yes, so far the month is already testing my patience and it is only the 2nd!!!  Lol

On a good note, I did have a little fun yesterday, the 1st of March...  Because of my headcold I was pretty much at home the whole day...  Then, not to go out of my wits, decided to let my feet do the walking and take me wherever!!!

Ended up in the XinYi District area and had the pleasure is seeing the Panda installation all over Taipei's City Hall..  Drawing quite a crowd, one has to line up for every single panda on display - that is if you want to pose ans snap a shot with the critters...

Also had the pleasure of running into Stephanie Sun's Promotional

CD Debut appearance at the Warner Village area..  

Got to hear her sing!  She has such a lovely voice, it has been a while since I heard her last..  

Truly a Welcomed Surprise!!!

Lantern Festival 2014

Be sure not to miss this year's Lantern Festival display happening now at the various Taipei Flora Expo Pavilions in the Jhongshang district.

An abundance of Glorious, Amazing, Creative, whimsical, wonderful lanterns

to thrill the young and old alike.

Had the pleasure of visiting and admiring them earlier this week with Juju...  Lights are turned on by 5:30PM... And a light show everynite at about 7:30PM.  We were lucky enough to get there just a little after 5PM so not too many people yet..  

This is one of my most FAVE pieces on display...  Dragon, of course!

The drops if rain did not bother us st all..  Way too many nice lanterns to thrill us.. And in some cases the rain is even an added touch as the lanterns' reflections on the wet grounds added to the beauty of it all!

Btw, been keeping a 365 Smile Project on FB....   My goal is to collect smile, smiles, smiley photos here and there and in my travels - 365 of them.... like the one you see up above...   after all Smiles Can Do a Lot for a person....   could be the start of something new... a way to cheer cheer someone up and give them a different perspective when things are down...  keeps one happy and younger....   an ice breaker.....  common language in any part of the world, and most of all - it is FREE... so SHARE AWAY!!!

KHH for CNY 2014: Part 2

The rest of the time in Kaohsiung for the Chibese New Year Holiday was quite relaxing...  Especially with the Boys working and away in Military duties...  Still, we sure made the most of our time..... 

Mornings were spent on loooong walks with Liya and the doggies...  

Afternoons having coffee...  And evenings just relaxing...

Thursday the 30th was extra fun as Both Todd and Johnny starts their CNY holidays..  So we get 2 days with them... Running around..  Helping prepare for the Chinese New Year's Eve....  Then the celebration itself...

Our last day, the 31st, was spent going to a couple of Temples...  Hanging out at the park with the whole Wu Clan...  And in the evening, going to Love River to see some Lanterns already on display...  And a boat ride around the river....
