Keep Smiling

 

As I see it, Life as it is with Selfies, you gotta take a lot of shots to get that one shot you like... (Mind you am not talking about the super photoshopped ones that you do not even recognize your own self.)  It's the one or two  shots you are truly happy with...  The one that  you post and hope your friends and contacts will like, too...  

 

But in case they do not, you just have "Keep Smiling" anyway...  What really matters is that you can  look at the photo (or your life for that matter) and know that it is the real you, the best of you,...  the one where your True Personality comes through...  

Still, we all know that we cannot possibly be liked by everyone,  nor can we possibly like everyone...  What matters is that we can look at ourselves in the mirror and genuinely like what we see..  That we can be happy with what we put out there...  To know that we are not there to harm, stir troubles, or  spread negativity...  Instead,  to actually spread happiness and hope that we make others smile in our own little ways...  

And to have one or two friends (as well as other FB friends) like that selfie shot is just an added bonus.

Japan State of Mind

Boy was I in Heaven with this last trip in Japan - where I was the whole week last....  Not my first time in the country of course but was my first in the Nagoya Area and the beautiful little Towns, such as Gero, Shirakawa , Gujo, etc...  Loved it so much that am still in what you might call a "Japan State of Mind!"

I mean, how could I not be...  the sights... the food..  Onsens...  Sakura Blooms...  And SNOW!!!   Just a truly Wonderful and Magical Trip for me!!!  Now back in Taipei...  Gotta Get back into the swing of things and get cracking with work...

Going Green For March..  Why Not!!!

I can only hope that this month will be good..  So far, not so...  Starting the month with Allergies - i haven't had it this bad in a loooon time...  So bad that I have caugt a headcold in the process..  Boo Hoo..  And adding to the headcold are a few minor headaches brought on by work and little and not so little matters that needs dealing with...

Yes, so far the month is already testing my patience and it is only the 2nd!!!  Lol

On a good note, I did have a little fun yesterday, the 1st of March...  Because of my headcold I was pretty much at home the whole day...  Then, not to go out of my wits, decided to let my feet do the walking and take me wherever!!!

Ended up in the XinYi District area and had the pleasure is seeing the Panda installation all over Taipei's City Hall..  Drawing quite a crowd, one has to line up for every single panda on display - that is if you want to pose ans snap a shot with the critters...

Also had the pleasure of running into Stephanie Sun's Promotional

CD Debut appearance at the Warner Village area..  

Got to hear her sing!  She has such a lovely voice, it has been a while since I heard her last..  

Truly a Welcomed Surprise!!!

Here's a Bright Idea!

SMILE...  It's Friday!!!

 

Will make the most of my two day break from  babysitting..  As come Sunday am it till Thursday...  Whoah!!!  Just pray the weather gives me a little break - cold n wet now...  Oh well, will muddle through, am sure...

Btw, been keeping a 365 Smile Project on FB....   My goal is to collect smile, smiles, smiley photos here and there and in my travels - 365 of them.... like the one you see up above...   after all Smiles Can Do a Lot for a person....   could be the start of something new... a way to cheer cheer someone up and give them a different perspective when things are down...  keeps one happy and younger....   an ice breaker.....  common language in any part of the world, and most of all - it is FREE... so SHARE AWAY!!!

Happy Hump Day All!!!

 

Actualy been raining a lot these days, so it makes it hard to get around...  Worse, it makes it very hard to get up in the morning when all one wanna do is snuggle up with the pillow and bundle up in bed...   But such is not a luxury for the working folks like us...  So we get up - make up the bed right away, so it does not entice us to fall back into slumber once more... - And just go about our daily chores and work...

 

One thing I am loving though when the temperature drops, it makes for nice afternoon and evening walks...  The wet pavements reflects the street lights beautifully...  

And one can enjoy the Parks and Playgrounds so much more!!!

 

Still In Summer Mode

Yes it is already Autumn..  It is apparent in the air and the falling leaves...  Still, most days the Sun shines as if it is still Summer..    So with that in mind, i just trimmed my hair as if it is indeed, still Summer...

 

I actually like it as it feels a whole lot lighter...  

And since am a No Fuzz Groomer, i can once again just Shower, tussle the hair a bit and Go!!!
