Stormy Saturday

Got back in the wee hours of the morning from a nice getaway trip to Jeju Island, So Korea....   though I have been to Korea many times before, this was my first to this part of the country....  it was a tiring, but none-the-less, fun filled 4 days - roaming around the streets, checking out Phoenix Island, and eating some delicious but Oh-So-Hot Food....  But that's for another BLOG...  which I should be able to catch up on as soon as I get settled in these next two days.....   so much to SHARE and CATCH UP ON....

 

Right now am basically just keeping up/catching up with all....   I would complain about coming home to the rain but it is actually nice as it made me stay home and do work.... get a grasp of things at hand...  follow up with emails...  and even DELETE - what was very much in need of DELETION!

Did get to go out for a bit though, as we found Exhibition tickets that was expiring today... so we rushed to the National Museum to take in the POP UP BOOK EXHIBITION....  it seemed nice... I say seemed as it was hard to get close to anything with the amount of people in attendance....  almost not worth going at all - so rewarded ourselves with Mister Donuts instead - always a nice Picker Upper....    Overall a nice rainy day for me....  Twister and All!

 

XMas Treats @ Mister Donut

was a rainy day the whole day yesterday....  so most of the day was spent indoors....   working...  playing with and looking after jewel...  never a good thing for me being couped up indoors for looooong periods of time....  as most of you know....   so the minute the rain let up a bit, Jewel in tow, I was out of the house.....  hahahahahahahaha...

Sadly it was already around 8PM at this time... with really no place to go - too late to hop on the bus and go to the malls... we walked over to Min Sheng Rd - to check out mags at KINGSTONE BOOKSTORE....   and just hang out....   and Jewel did a lot of her walking exercises for the day on the 3rd floor....  even walked up and down the steps - A LOT!!!  ON HER OWN!!! (Not to worry - am ALWAYS close by for support and safety...)

Just so happen that Mister Donut is next door to it...  and their XMas poster beckoned us to come in - so a good whole hour was spent eating, drinking, people watching and snapping shots....   we both LOVED sampling the new XMas mini treats - so cute in their XMas packaging - 2 varieties available....

Jewel walking....  Yummy Mister Donuts....  and XMas spirits in the air - FINALLY....

Cannot believe I have been so behind in photographing and sharing my latest acquisitions of Premium Toys.... Vinyl toys that are FAVEs of mine from McDonalds & Mister Donut... so here goes:

DORAEMON: Current Premium Tie Ins for McDonalds.... Doraemon doubles as the 12 Lunar Calendar Animals... of course I got the DRAGON, one... :))

Mister Donut's Premium to welcome the New Year... the shops mascot sits atop the Fortune Boat, that doubles as a candy container.

These guys came out a few months back to benefit the Ronald McDonalds House Foundation... Set of 4. (Thanks Sue & Juliana!!!)

Not sure when this Jungle Book Premium was issued - came across this at one of the Toy Shops I frequent... MOWGLI - gottat have!!!
