Today, Family Mart started their "One Piece" Premium Toys run.... and I could not be happier.... I skipped the last two offerings they had - as they just did not strike my fancy enough.... but this new one certainly does.... A FUN Manga and GREAT CONCEPTS on each of the 
Vinyl Toys offered in the collection.... The Program runs starting today thru the end of May...

Been so busy the last couple of months am sooooo behind even on one of my most FAVE pastimes in Taiwan - Collecting Premium Toys... and boy, oh boy, a fine time to behind., too... so many cool stuff have been put on the market since the beginning of May.... am not quite sure what is what yet.... so I have just been taking photos of the posters and the displays as I happen upon them.... so far here are the ones from 7-11, Family Mart & McDonalds...
...set in the classroom world of Maruko-chan... each of the premium vinyl toys is set on a school desk diorama that doubles for real working, useful things such as scissors, staplers, tape dispenser, hole puncher, etc.. So far I have this one to start of the collection... it doubles as a stapler...
Family Mart has the local PILI characters for their current Premium program...
and the latest SHREK Movie is the subject of McDonald's latest Happy Meal Toys....

The way the program works is that, for every 40NT$ spent at Family Mart, one gets a sticker... a total of 20 stickers entitles one to redeem one Kewpie blind box - so you do not know which one you will get...
So hurry on down to your nearest Family Mart (if in Taiwan) and start your Kewpie Cutie Madness collecting fun... The Program runs till March 22nd....
Everyone mourns the passing of 51 year old Yoshihito Usui, creator of the very humorous 'Crayon Shinchan' series - the beloved series about a kindergartner and his family. The comic book was later adapted as a television series and film, and has been used in a new campaign aimed at child rearing in the region. In Taiwan, Family Mart uses Shinchan for various Premiums Campaign - with one currently running.
It has been reported that the 51-year-old went missing on September 11, after going on a climb on the mountain. He never returned home, and his body was discovered by a hiker just a day ago.

So, one should NEVER give up - ever.... with just a bit of LUCK and a bit of HELP from FRIENDS (Thanks Sue & Cecilia!) - all can be attained, acquired or accomplished. Such is the case of completing this year's Chinese NY Family Mart Premium Lucky Vinyl Toys.
Over the weekend, as we got together for the Taipei Toy Festival, Sue handed over to me a small paper bag containing the 3 that I was missing to complete my collection (see side photo)... plus a couple of others.... What A Feeling - always GREAT when am able to complete a collection. Especially these HARD TO GET ones.

But it never ends as the SUMMER PREMIUM PROGRAM has already commenced - HELP!!!
...could it be HOPELESS by now??? The PROMO RUNS till Chinese New Year only -- which is in less than 2 weeks!!!!
First it was the Holidays.... then the WEDDING.... got sidetracked by all those I completely forgotten about the FAMILY MART Premium Promo for this year's Chinese NY.... boo hoo....
Remembered it upon sptting the newest poster recently posted on the front of Family Mart shops. These two are the two added Special Premiums: a Lucky (clute little) Rat and a Lucky Ox.
Alas, so far I only have these two below... one I got to redeem on my own while the other was a given to me by Liya... and it is getting harder and harder to get those stickers as certain items bought cannot be redeemed for stickers... what to do? what to do?
The collecting frenzy continues....
If your reside in Taiwan, head on to your local Family Mart, as they have started their PREMIUM Program once again.... this program runs through Chinese New Year... this is one I wait for each year, as it is always with a Chinese Theme.... 
This year Chinese New Year Premium program consists of Assorted Animals, considered Lucky by the Chinese -- right now there are 6 different styles but am told an additional two will be introduced come January... Just right up my alley... They all carry a Golden Coin so they all signify FORTUNE....
